My Morning Prayer: Because of the Resurrection

Because of the Resurrection

Because of the resurrection:

You still have a Redeemer who will keep you.
You still have a Shepherd who will lead you.
You still have a Friend who will be with you.
You still have a Lord who will use you.

You still have a High Priest who will pray for you.

You still have a Provider who will care for you.

You still have a Bridegroom who will come for you.

I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen (Revelation 1:18 NKJV).

My Morning Prayer

Father God, You alone have given us the provision—through the blood of  your Son Jesus, to be reconciled with You. Thank You for restoring us to You, that we might have fellowship with You and live with You forever in the heavenlies. Help us to remember these aspects of your character as You continue to be our Redeemer, Shepherd, Friend, Lord, High Priest, Provider and Bridegroom. Teach me to leave space in my life to allow You to work Your will IN me and THROUGH me. I want to live a resurrected life with You forevermore. In Jesus's name, amen.
