My Morning Prayer: He Invites You to Draw Near

He Invites You to
Draw Near
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow
Let us draw near with
a true heart in full assurance of faith (Hebrews 10:22 NKJV).
Prayer is for time, not for eternity. Now you are a pilgrim with needs
to be met and people to minister to along the way. One day you will be in your
Father’s house and the need for asking will have passed away, and only praise
will remain. In Jesus, your future is secure and your destiny certain. Today is
the time to bring before Him all those who, like you, are in need of hope and
encouragement on their journey home.
My Morning Prayer
-Marina Bromley
Oh Father, God! How I await the time I can be with You and sit at Your feet in Heaven. How I will worship You alongside my loved ones that have gone before. I will have no questions, no hesitations, no loneliness, no pain, no shame. Only praise will remain, as I fall on my face and worship You. Until the day You bring me to my heavenly home, please give me the words, the boldness, the strength, the companionship and compassion to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly and concisely to those who do not know You. Help me to encourage those who do know You with Your Word, the Bible. Use my life to help others not make the same mistakes I have, and help us to keep our gaze on You, always seeking Your face. I love You and praise You because You first loved us. Amen.
