God has Promised: God’s Strength
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow
As your days, so shall your strength be. “There is no one like
the God of Jeshurun, Who rides the
heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust
out the enemy from before you.” (Deuteronomy 33:25-27 NKJV).
Both riches and honor come
from You, and You reign over all. In Your hands are power and might; in Your
hands it is to make great and to give strength to all (1 Chronicles 29:12 AMP).
The LORD will give strength
to His people (Psalm 29:11 NKJV).
He lets me rest in green
meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams (Psalm 23:2 NLT).
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear (Psalm 46:1-2 NKJV).
My soul, wait silently for
God alone, For my expectation is from
Him. He only is my rock and my
salvation; He is my defense; I shall
not be moved. In God is my salvation
and my glory; The rock of my strength, And
my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at
all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us (Psalm 62:5-8 NKJV).
Fear thou not; for I am with
thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will
help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness
(Isaiah 41:10 KJV).
But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! (2 Corinthians 12:9 AMP).
Finally, my brethren, be
strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10 NKJV).
