God has Promised: God’s Peace
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow
The LORD will give strength
to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace (Psalm 29:11 NKJV).
He has redeemed my soul in
peace from the battle that was
against me,
For there were many against
me (Psalm 55:18 NKJV).
I create the fruit of the
lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the
LORD, and I will heal him (Isaiah 57:19 KJV).
Great peace have those who
love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble (Psalm 119:165 NKJV).
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gently and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV).
Therefore, since we have been
made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what
Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought
us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we
confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory (Romans 5:1-2
NLT).
For God is not the author of
confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV).
Don’t worry about anything;
instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all
He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we
can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in
Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT).
And let the peace of God rule
in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful
(Colossians 3:15 NKJV).
