God has Promised: God’s Care
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow
Scriptures of comfort and hope for difficult times:
I will be glad and rejoice in
Your unfailing love, for You have seen my troubles, and You care about the
anguish of my soil. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me
in a safe place (Psalm 31:7-8 NLT).
For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the LORD takes care of the godly (Psalm 37:17 NLT).
Give your burdens to the
LORD, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and
fall (Psalm 55:22 NLT).
Answer my prayers, O LORD,
for Your unfailing love is wonderful. Take care of me, for Your mercy is so
plentiful (Psalm 69:16 NLT).
[God] led His own people
forth like sheep and guided them [with a shepherd’s care] like a flock in the
wilderness (Psalm 78:52 AMP).
Can a mother forget her
nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if
that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on
the palms of My hands (Isaiah 49:15-16 NLT).
Casting the whole of your
care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for
all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully (1 Peter 5-7 AMP).
The LORD values those who
fear Him, those who put their hope in His faithful love (Psalm 147:11 HCSB).
