My Morning Prayer: God Orders Your Steps

God Orders Your Steps
-Roy Lessin
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 NKJV
Each day we can respond to the opportunities God places before us. Not the opportunities to be famous, powerful, or rich, but the opportunities to glorify Him. These opportunities will often be found amidst the ordinary days and routine moments of our lives.
Today God may give you the opportunity to manifest an attitude that
reflects what He thinks and feels; to perform an action that expresses what He
wants to do in a certain situation; to share words that speak His heart and His
truth into someone’s life; or to respond with a kindness that extends His grace
and mercy to someone in need.
My Morning Prayer
-Marina Bromley
Father God, thank You for Your presence in my life. Help me to identify and recognize the opportunities that You place me in, or that You place before me. Strengthen me to have the boldness and faith to step forward and into the attitudes, actions, and declarations that will express Your will for those moments. Manifest Yourself in my attitudes, my emotions, my feelings and expressions. May I reflect Your love and kindness, Your heart and grace and mercy to those around me.
Lord, when it comes to fame and fortune, may all gifts in my life be used for Your glory. I want to make You famous on the earth today, and make heaven crowded tomorrow. May You receive all the glory, as You alone are the gift giver. May I always glorify You with everything within me. Be glorified. In Jesus' name, amen.
