This is a
very different time for all of us. It’s the first time I have seen the world
put up a sign that reads, “Closed!” I am so thankful that the sign over the
Kingdom of God reads, “Still Open!"
Not only is
the Kingdom open, but as believers we have access. Also, in the Kingdom there
are no shortages and no empty shelves. Everything is in abundance.
Psalm 23 is
a big window that lets us have an amazing view of all that is ours as God’s
children. Here are a few of them:
God’s
presence is ours—“I will fear no evil; For You are with me.”
God’s peace is ours—“He leads me beside still waters.”
God’s power is ours—“You restore my soul.”
God’s portion is ours—“My cup runs over.”
God’s provision is ours—“I shall not want.”
God’s peace is ours—“He leads me beside still waters.”
God’s power is ours—“You restore my soul.”
God’s portion is ours—“My cup runs over.”
God’s provision is ours—“I shall not want.”
Each day we
are totally dependent upon the Lord. Some days we are more aware of it than
others. The Psalmist said, “Trust in the Lord at all times.” Today is one of
those times.
